BCAAFC is hosting an Anti-Racist Data Legislation Engagement Session and is inviting two (2) representatives from each Friendship Centre in British Columbia to join. The purpose of this engagement session is to gather input to respond to the provincial government’s upcoming Anti-Racism Data Legislation. Friendship Centres can decide on representatives to join. It would be appreciated if one of the representatives had some experience in data collection, but this is not required. This engagement session is also open to community members (such as an Elder, PAYC/Youth) who are able to travel independently, or Friendship Centre clients.
Expenses, including travel (flights, accommodation, mileage etc.), breakfast and lunch, are covered by BCAAFC.
