The BCAAFC Annual General Meeting is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, July 6, 2022, to Saturday, July 9, 2022, on the unceded territory of the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation in Whistler, BC.

A special event will be held for the 50th Year Anniversary celebration on the evening of Friday, July 8, 2022;

We will be offering presentations on Housing, (Aboriginal Housing Management Association, Margaret Pho will provide a keynote);

Niki Sharma, the Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development and Non-Profits will be providing a keynote;
-
The Federation of Community Social Services will provide a presentation on collaboration with BCAAFC on Reconciliation efforts;

There will be prizes, a silent auction, workshops, and more!

Voting and Board Nomination:
Voting will take place in person at the event. Members will receive a voting package in the coming weeks. Please note: only one (1) vote per centre.
Please fill out one RSVP form for each person attending the AGM from your Friendship Centre (max. 5) by May 29, 2022. Please consider a youth representative to participate. Answer all survey questions to the best of your abilities.
