The BCAAFC is hosting THREE Early Childhood Development/Childcare Community of Practice Gathering events in three different locations in 2023. The goal is to bring together 1-2 representatives from each Friendship Centre to participate.
In these sessions participants will:
Learn tools and strategies to change mindset from “not enough” to healing, inspiring, and self-love
Learn the difference and power of switching from a fear-based to a love-based mindset
Participate in traditional wellness activities such as: Ancestral teachings, language revitalization, brushing, smudging, and dancing
Create your own personal wellness book with reflections, wellness teachings and love reminders to help you see your growth, re-centre your confidence, reduce anxiety, and streamline your consciousness
All expenses including travel (flights, accommodation, mileage etc.), all meals, workshops and materials are covered by the BCAAFC (Provincial Child Care Planner).
Friendship Centres requesting to send two (2) delegates will be approved upon registration and based on available space.
