Friendship Centres in the News
BC Friendship Centres are not-for-profit, Indigenous-led, social service organizations that work to promote, develop, and deliver accessible programs and services that support Indigenous peoples living in urban areas and away from home.
Part of supporting the Friendship Centre Movement involves drawing attention to key issues, policy changes, funding announcements, and relevant news stories. We keep track of what’s happening within the sector and when our Friendship Centres get the recognition they deserve in the media.
