BCAAFC has secured 10 spots in Vantage Point’s Executive Director 101 – Indigenous Leadership Cohort this October.

This three-part online cohort series is co-facilitated by Maria Turnbull, Assistant Executive Director of Vantage Point, and Rachelle Dallaire, Executive Director of Indigenous Perspectives Society

Participants will:

  • Connect with Indigenous non-profit leaders from across BC
  • Strengthen their understanding of the ED role through both Indigenous and settler models of leadership
  • Explore leadership practices rooted in respect, reciprocity, and community connection
  • Develop governance approaches that honour accountability to community, culture, and future generations alongside funder requirements
  • Co-create a 12-month action plan aligned with their organization’s values and priorities

Suggested participants: New, incoming, and future executive directors (including other similar roles like general manager, managing directors, and senior leadership) who are looking for some structure and insight to the EDs key responsibilities.

All sessions are via Zoom. You must complete all sessions in order to receive a certificate of completion. The sessions build on each other.
