For those who are not familiar with these certifications, they are online/self-paced courses that you can take on Coursera. They normally have a cost to be certified. Learn more at: https://grow.google/certificates.
The scholarship must be used to participate in the Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or Project Management certificate; though once you finish one, you can continue participating in the other Certifications, as the scholarship is valid for 12 months once assigned.
The Google Cybersecurity Certificate Program is brand new! It consists of 8 modules:
To make sure each license is being actively used and out of fairness for others, Google requested us to monitor license usage every 2 weeks, and Coursera provides us a report of those who are not moving forward with the contents. This means that, unfortunately, if someone is not using the opportunity they will receive a first notification to keep moving forward after 2 weeks, and after 4 weeks of inactivity, the license will be canceled and re-assigned.
